For those who shot a stand-up and want to turn a package from what we shot at Fox2 Tuesday:
You need to log the sound bytes and write the package script by Sunday night. For this package, it’s okay to be longer than 1:30. You can probably go as long at 2:30 – but it will be a challenge to make your story flow and keep the viewer’s interest. Email your script to me on Sunday night by 8:00p.m. I’ll take a look at them and pick the best one. I will call that person, because he or she will need to make plans Monday morning to go to the TV studio and voice the package. Ed has someone scheduled to do the editing. If I don’t choose your script, this doesn’t mean you can’t still voice and edit the package on your own.

i had a really fun time there today, it was just perfect to see the real TV industry,, i enjoyed the interview part the most.

I had an amazing time there...just the thing to get me extremely hyped about my career choice! My favorite part had to be seeing the KTVI set that I sat at home watching last night. Sitting at that anchor desk was like standing on top of the eiffel tower (I know, how lame is that), but it was really cool for me. I also enjoyed doing my stand-up outside...froze my butt off, but it was fun!
